​വർക്കല: 93-ാമത് ശിവഗിരി തീർത്ഥാടനത്തിന്റെ ഉദ്ഘാടന വേദിയിൽ വെച്ച്, ഡോ. ശശി തരൂർ രചിച്ച 'ദി സേജ് ഹു റീഇമാജിൻഡ് ഹിന്ദൂയിസം: ദി ലൈഫ്, ലെസൺസ്, ആൻഡ് ലെഗസി ഓഫ് ശ്രീനാരായണ ഗുരു' (The Sage Who Reimagined Hinduism: The Life, Lessons, & Legacy of Sree Narayana Guru) എന്ന പുസ്തകം പ്രകാശനം ചെയ്തു.

​2025 ഡിസംബർ 30-ന് വർക്കല ശിവഗിരി മഠത്തിൽ നടന്ന ചടങ്ങിൽ, ഇന്ത്യൻ ഉപരാഷ്ട്രപതി ശ്രീ സി.പി. രാധാകൃഷ്ണൻ, കേരള ഗവർണർ ശ്രീ രാജേന്ദ്ര വിശ്വനാഥ് അർലേക്കർക്ക് പുസ്തകത്തിന്റെ ആദ്യ പ്രതി നൽകിക്കൊണ്ടാണ് പ്രകാശനം നിർവ്വഹിച്ചത്.

​ശ്രീനാരായണ ധർമ്മ സംഘം ട്രസ്റ്റ് പ്രസിഡന്റ് സ്വാമി സച്ചിദാനന്ദ, ജനറൽ സെക്രട്ടറി സ്വാമി ശുഭാംഗാനന്ദ, കേന്ദ്രമന്ത്രി ശ്രീ സുരേഷ് ഗോപി, സംസ്ഥാന മന്ത്രി ശ്രീ എം.ബി. രാജേഷ് തുടങ്ങിയവരുടെ സാന്നിധ്യത്തിലായിരുന്നു ചടങ്ങ് നടന്നത്.

​ശ്രീനാരായണ ഗുരുവിന്റെ ജീവിതം, അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ദർശനങ്ങൾ, കേരളീയ നവോത്ഥാന ചരിത്രത്തിലും ഹിന്ദുമതത്തിലും അദ്ദേഹം വരുത്തിയ വിപ്ലവകരമായ മാറ്റങ്ങൾ എന്നിവയാണ് ശശി തരൂരിന്റെ ഈ പുതിയ പുസ്തകത്തിന്റെ ഇതിവൃത്തം.

​93rd Sivagiri Pilgrimage: Vice President Releases Dr. Shashi Tharoor’s Book on Sree Narayana Guru

​VARKALA: Dr. Shashi Tharoor’s latest book, titled The Sage Who Reimagined Hinduism: The Life, Lessons, & Legacy of Sree Narayana Guru, was released at the inaugural venue of the 93rd Sivagiri Pilgrimage.

​In a ceremony held at Sivagiri Mutt, Varkala, on December 30, 2025, the Hon'ble Vice President of India, Shri C.P. Radhakrishnan, officially released the book by handing over the first copy to the Hon'ble Governor of Kerala, Shri Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar.

​The event took place in the distinguished presence of Swami Satchidananda (President, Sree Narayana Dharma Sanghom Trust), Swami Subhamgananda (General Secretary, Sree Narayana Dharma Sanghom Trust), Union Minister Shri Suresh Gopi, and State Minister Shri M.B. Rajesh.

​Dr. Shashi Tharoor’s new book explores the life and philosophy of Sree Narayana Guru, as well as the revolutionary changes he brought about in the history of the Kerala Renaissance and within Hinduism.
